CAKE TOWER is an extravagant rock n’ roll pile of decadent frequencies, feelings, and layers of musical frosting between love n’ loneliness living in an explosive human form. With sounds and moods inspired by 1960s Janis and 1780s Marie Antionette, CAKE TOWER rocks all original music written and performed by Christine Hauer with the hope that we can all sing and dance together in huge bunny-themed gowns, eating cakes dipped in punk and love stories.

Starting at a take-out line in Joshua Tree after a discussion of how delightful a giant tower of cakes can be, CAKE TOWER was formed as the musical playground for artist/actress/comedian/producer/writer, Christine Hauer. At 33, with no music background, Christine took a piano lesson to feel something new during quarantine - and she did (freedom)! Christine then wrote a 10 song album for her one-woman musical, A Christine Carol, which hugs all her past personalities, and led to her writing a 10-song rock n’ roll album called I DON’T KNOW HOW TO PLAY THIS, all within a year.

Playing on stages like Boardners, The Mint, and the famous Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles as well as Chelsea Music Hall and the Al Hirschfeld Mansion in New York City, CAKE TOWER is recording a new album, performing around NYC/LA, and producing variety shows and music videos that curate community, joy, and authentic expression with fellow artist friends within Christine’s production house, Luck & Luster.
